The Constituency Youth Council is a group of young students grades 9-12 who meet with MP Harjit S. Sajjan and his team to learn about Canada's political process, discuss various issues tackling Canadians, and make a direct difference in their communities through various initiatives. This student-led council has been involved in organizing several projects, including that of running a bottle drive, donating care packages to local organizations, and arranging conversations with politicians and professionals.
The council meets monthly from September through June. Our next application cycle welcomes any students in grades 9-12 can apply to the 2024-2025 VSCYC in June 2024.
